W środę władze ATP i WTA przekazały fanom wspólnie podjętą decyzję. Kolejne turnieje nie będą rozegrane tak jak były zaplanowane w związku z panującą pandemią koronawirusa. Rywalizacja została wstrzymana do 7 czerwca.
Oznacza to, że nie odbędą się Mutua Madrid Open, Internazionali BNL d’Italia, Internationaux de Strasbourg, Grand Prix De SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem, BMW Open, Geneva Open, Millennium Estoril Open i Lyon Open.
Punkty zostaną zamrożone.
